A 17-year-old boy was taken to a hospital in stable condition after being shot Friday afternoon on Liming Avenue, according to Orange County Sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies said they responded to a 911 call at about 3:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of Liming Avenue.

When they arrived, deputies found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and was listed in stable condition.

On Monday, the sheriff’s office said the parties involved declined to prosecute.
