How much do you love candy corn? Enough to want to smell like it?

Brach’s Candy is releasing a perfume that promises to smell like the iconic tri-color Halloween treat tastes.

Ode to Candy Corn has notes of vanilla, spun sugar, and honey.

The eau de parfum will be released exclusively at CandyCornSeason.com on two drop dates — Sept. 22 and Oct. 1, both at 7 p.m. Eastern. The fragrance will cost $22.

Candy corn’s origins date back to the 1880s as one of many mellowcreme confections molded into farm-themed candies and marketed to children in agricultural communities.

The Goelitz Candy Company took the recipe in 1898 and marketed the treats under the name “Chicken Feed” because Americans didn’t really eat corn before World War I, when there were wheat shortages.

As trick-or-treating became more associated with Halloween in the 1950s, candy corn came to be synonymous with the holiday.

According to Brach’s, its candy corn is the No. 1 fall confection item, with 17% of its sales occurring before Labor Day, and more than half of sales happening before October.
