Deputies are investigating after shots were fired during a hit-and-run crash on Thursday night, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

In a release, deputies said they responded to the 3000 block of Whisper Lake Lane around 8:17 p.m. regarding the incident.

Upon arrival, they spoke with a 53-year-old man who remained on scene, though no injuries were reported, the release states.

“The investigation is in its early stages, and we have no further information to release at this time,” the release concludes.
