Stranger Things returns for its fourth Halloween Horror Nights house at Universal Studios Hollywood, this one based on the show’s final season. Set in 1987, the action kicks off when Vecna kidnaps Mike and Nancy’s younger sister Holly Wheeler while Hawkins is under quarantine by the U.S. military.

Join the Hawkins gang for one last adventure. Try to survive an army of Demogorgons, face the Mind Flayer and defeat Vecna once and for all in this haunted house based on Stranger Things 5.
Guests hear music and dialogue from the final season as they make their way through various scenes. One of the first set pieces is the Stranger Things 5 title sequence on a wall, leading guests through the woods to Castle Byers. To the left, Dustin is seen struggling and hanging from a tree.
Inside, Will is ensnared on the wall and Vecna jumpscares guests through the wall.
Guests then move into the Wheeler house, where Karen Wheeler defends her daughter Nancy from a Demogorgon as guests hear “Fernando” by ABBA.
Moving underground, Demogorgons continue to attack guests while Robin is heard trying to get Lucas on the radio.
In the frozen military base are bodies and a distressed Dustin calling for Jonathan. Video effects show Demogorgons attacking people inside a bunker. Vecna appears again before guests see Will using his powers to destroy a Demogorgon.
One of the final scenes sees Eleven fighting Vecna. Then Nancy appears with her axe, telling Vecna he messed with the wrong family.
The final image is a video effect of a Dungeons & Dragons character sheet with Eleven’s face as guests hear Mike describing how she might have lived.

Stranger Things 5 is in Soundstage 15 (formerly Soundstage 29) on the Lower Lot, near the Super Nintendo World entrance.

Netflix’s Stranger Things was created by the Duffer Brothers, who produced the fifth and final season with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. Marketed as Stranger Things 5, the eight-episode season was released in three rounds throughout November and December 2025.
