A Central Florida man who was arrested last month on child sex abuse material possession allegations is now facing 100 charges.

Osceola County Sheriff Chris Blackmon joined Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier for a news conference in Orlando Wednesday to announce the new charges.

In September, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office announced that the man — identified as Jerry Jesus Reyes, 26 — had been taken into custody.

The sheriff’s office said subpoenas and search warrants found an account with child pornography, with the victims as young as infants. The sheriff’s office said they also found pornographic videos depicting sexual activity involving a person and a dog, later identified as a family pet.

At first Reyes faced a dozen counts of child porn possession and sexual contact with an animal.

On Wednesday, Blackmon said that was upgraded to 100 charges, after thousands pictures and videos were found on Reyes cell phone.

They break down as:

  • One count of transmission of child pornography by electronic device or equipment
  • 86 counts of unlawful possession of materials depicting sexual performance by a child
  • 13 counts of unlawful possession of materials depicting sexual activity with animals

Reyes is being held on $1.3 million bond.

The OCSO also said that Reyes has previously been the subject of “Internet Crimes Against Children” investigations in 2016, 2021 and 2022.

Anyone with information related to this case or a similar incident is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at (407) 348-2222.
