A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash that shut down the southbound lanes of US 17-92 (Orlando Avenue) Winter Park.

The crash happened between Gene Street and Minnesota Avenue and forced drivers to find other ways to travel in the area while officers investigated the scene. All roads are now back open.

The crash involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. Officers say they believe they have a person in custody who was involved in the hit-and-run.

Police are still working on what charges that person will face.
