A man was killed Thursday morning after being found under a bus by his co-workers at a worksite, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

It happened Thursday at Phoenix Bus, a charter company on 37th Street.

The victim, a man in his 60s, was working on the bus when he ended up pinned underneath. He extricated before crews arrived and was transported to a hospital, where he later died, deputies said.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the death. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is also investigating the work conditions surrounding the incident.

No additional details have been released.
