Universal CityWalk’s hottest new food spot is officially opening its doors, and you just might get a hot dog handed to you by a member of one of the biggest boy bands in history.
Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice, the creative new concept founded by *NSYNC member Joey Fatone and entertainment manager Joe Mulvihill, is set to open Saturday.
Fat One’s replaces the longtime Hot Dog Hall of Fame at CityWalk, which closed in July to make way for the new concept. The menu promises a lineup of creative, flavor-packed hot dogs, Italian ices and more.
The venture is backed by Mulvi Group, Mulvihill’s Orlando-based entertainment management and production company.
Fat One’s isn’t a newcomer to the Orlando food scene. The concept got its start as a permanent kiosk at The Florida Mall in 2016, then hit the road as a mobile food truck operation in 2018 before landing its biggest stage yet at CityWalk.
The first 100 guests through the door will score a wristband for one free hot dog — served by Fatone himself. Doors open at 10 a.m., wristbands are first-come, first-served, and space is limited, so set that alarm.
“Come hungry and help us celebrate!” the Mulvi Group posted on Instagram ahead of the big day.
Fatone, who is a graduate of nearby Dr. Phillips High School, will also stick around for photos following the free hot dog service — for a limited time.
Fat Ones isn’t the only new addition coming ot Citywalk. Earlier this year, Universal announced a major entertainment project for the waterfront: Luke Combs’ Category 10, a venue from the country music star and Opry Entertainment Group, is planned for 2027 with live music, food, and drinks.
