Guests staying in The Villas at Disneyland Hotel spotted bed bugs in their room and report that the front desk did “nothing” to resolve the issue.

Disneyland Hotel Bed Bugs
Reddit user lejlababy posted in r/Disneyland this weekend about the bugs, which they saw in their Discovery Tower room. They wrote:
I’m on the last day of a trip to Disneyland, and my friend and I discovered three small reddish-brown bugs in our hotel room. Here’s what happened:
Found one larger bug on top of my friend’s bedsheets.
Found another larger bug on my bedsheets.
Found a third, smaller and rounder bug on top of my pillow. We pulled back the bedding and checked the seams of the sheets but didn’t find any additional bugs. We captured one in a plastic bottle and brought it to the hotel front desk. I’m concerned these are bed bugs. Do these look like bed bugs? Front desk did nothing.
Many commenters confirmed the pictures were of bed bugs and offered advice for heat treating their belongings.
In an update on Sunday afternoon, lejlababy thanked commenters and said:
It’s now been over 7 hours since we reported the bugs to hotel management and physically handed over a specimen. Despite reaching out to the front desk manager, Guest Billing Services, Walt Disney Travel Guest Communications, and Disneyland Resort Guest Correspondence Team, we have received absolutely no follow-up or resolution. To make matters worse, we were still charged the full amount for our stay. I’m exhausted, frustrated, and now facing the added stress of making sure these little hitchhikers don’t follow me home.
Back in 2022, before The Villas at Disneyland Hotel opened, Disney settled a bed bug lawsuit. They agreee to pay a guest $100,000 after she claimed she was bitten by bed bugs at the hotel in 2018.
