Disney Jollywood Nights opens its 2026 season tonight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney PhotoPass has revealed where to find this year’s holiday photo ops. Nine locations dot the park, from a neon marquee at the entrance to a glowing Magic Shot in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. One of them is an indoor Holiday Studio inside Sid Cahuenga’s One-of-a-Kind. Downloads of your photos from the night are included with your event ticket, too.

Disney Jollywood Nights 2026 PhotoPass Locations and Magic Shots

IN THIS ARTICLE:

  • Disney PhotoPass has nine themed photo locations at Jollywood Nights 2026, including Magic Shots with Ollie, Kermit, and Miss Piggy.
  • The only indoor spot is a retro Holiday Studio inside Sid Cahuenga’s One-of-a-Kind.
  • Photo and video downloads from the event are included with your ticket for 45 days.

Jollywood Nights brings old Hollywood glamour to the holidays on 15 select nights between November 7th and January 5th. Plenty of guests dress up for the party, and PhotoPass photographers are set up across the park to capture those looks. This year’s photo spots reach from the front gate all the way to Batuu. You’ll find a mix of Magic Shots, themed props, and an indoor studio.

Magic Shots Add Ollie, the Muppets, and Life Day to Your Photos

With a Magic Shot, PhotoPass adds a digital character or effect to your picture after the photographer takes it. Three of this year’s locations use one, and two of them sit along Sunset Boulevard. All three return from last year’s list of Jollywood Nights Magic Shots.

  • Ollie Magic Shot | Near The Hollywood Tower Hotel
Ollie, the gingerbread mascot of Jollywood Nights, pops into the foreground, swinging an “HTH” suitcase. Guests get their own Hollywood Tower Hotel and HTH suitcase props to hold, with the lit-up tower looming behind them.
  • The Muppets | Sunset Boulevard
Kermit and Miss Piggy peek out from behind a stack of oversized gift boxes. He waves in a red scarf, and she wears a fur-trimmed holiday outfit. Disney says several photographers along Sunset Boulevard offer this one.
  • Life Day | By the X-Wing near Resistance Supply in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
This shot places what looks like a glowing Life Day orb in your hands, a nod to the holiday from the Star Wars galaxy. Disney’s sample shows the guest with palms up and eyes on the orb, which sells the effect.

Life Day sits farther from the rest of the lineup, but it’s worth the walk for Star Wars fans. It also works a little Batuu into a party that otherwise sticks close to old Hollywood.

The Ollie shot is the one we’d put at the top of the list. At night, the tower glows purple and pink, and the gingerbread bellhop makes the whole frame feel like a holiday postcard from The Twilight Zone. If you’re lucky, you might even time it up with Sunset Seasons Greetings.

Props and Backdrops From the Front Gate to Sunset Boulevard

The rest of the outdoor lineup relies on physical props and set pieces, which suit anyone after a classic holiday portrait. You’ll find the neon sign just inside the entrance, which makes it an easy first stop.

  • Disney Jollywood Nights Sign | At the entrance of the park, between Oscar’s Super Service and Sunset Boulevard
A neon Jollywood Nights marquee with a waving Ollie, framed by brass stanchions and gold rope like a movie premiere.
  • Disney Jollywood Nights Slate | On Hollywood Boulevard, closest to the entrance of The Hollywood Brown Derby
Guests hold a Jollywood Nights clapperboard featuring Ollie, with the Chinese Theater glowing at the end of the street.
  • Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Car | Near Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
The retro convertible gets a wreath on its grille and wrapped gifts in the back. It’s parked in front of a “The Horror Comes Home!” movie poster with tentacles curling around a Christmas tree.
  • Gift Box | Near Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard
Guests open a red-and-white Jollywood Nights gift box with The Hollywood Tower Hotel lit up overhead.
  • Ollie | Near ABC Commissary
An Ollie figure stands on a red pedestal in front of decorated Christmas trees, with a Jollywood Nights sign and a gingerbread star for guests to hold.

Last year, a similar Ollie Slate was available on Hollywood Boulevard and at Echo Lake. Disney now lists the slate at one spot, near The Hollywood Brown Derby.

Theater of the Stars hosts Disney Holidays in Hollywood five times a night on event dates, so the Gift Box line may grow a bit around showtimes.

The Holiday Studio Inside Sid Cahuenga’s

The Holiday Studio sits inside Sid Cahuenga’s One-of-a-Kind at the front of the park, and it’s the only indoor location on the list. Its set looks like a retro living room at Christmas, with a tinsel-draped tree, red velvet curtains, and giant ornament cutouts. A wooden bookcase holds wrapped gifts and vintage holiday cards, and a patterned red rug covers the floor.

Disney’s photos show the set in full color and in black and white, and both look like they came out of a 1950s family album. This is the spot that rewards dressing up the most. It also stays dry, which matters on nights when Disney’s rain plan for Jollywood Nights moves character meets indoors.

How Jollywood Nights PhotoPass Downloads Work

Downloads of your PhotoPass photos and videos from the event come included with your Jollywood Nights ticket, so you don’t need Memory Maker to take them home. Your photos do need to be linked to your Disney account before you can download them.

Disney is clear about the download window, though. “Photos can be downloaded from your Disney account as often as desired, up to 45 days after initial capture.” That clock starts on the night of your party. Opening night photos, for example, need to be downloaded by late December.

Event guests can enter Hollywood Studios starting at 5:30pm, two hours before the party officially begins at 7:30pm. Guests already in the park can pick up their credentials at two in-park check-in locations, Walt Disney Presents and the Grand Avenue entrance to Galaxy’s Edge. Disney hasn’t said whether photo locations open before 7:30pm, so plan on official party hours for the full lineup.
