A Central Florida man crashed on the highway while putting on deodorant, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

In a release on Monday, troopers said the incident happened in the westbound lanes of State Road 570, near the 14 milepost.

At the time, a 22-year-old Auburndale man was “traversing a curve in the roadway” while applying the deodorant, leading to the crash, troopers added.

“The driver collided with a crash attenuator and came to rest atop a concrete barrier wall,” the release reads. “No injuries were reported.”

Troopers confirmed that the driver was not arrested, instead being cited for careless driving.

Meanwhile, troopers reminded drivers about the dangers of distracted driving, which can include texting, loud music, eating, engaging with passengers or adjusting a GPS system.
