A Central Florida man has been arrested after deputies said they found videos showing him sexually abusing young children, including an infant.
In a release on Tuesday afternoon, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office announced that the man — identified as Jerry Jesus Reyes, 26 — had been taken into custody.
The investigation first kicked off after detectives receive a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, detectives explained.
“Records obtained through subpoenas and search warrants linked Reyes to an account depicting (child pornography) and pornographic videos depicting sexual activity involving a person and a dog,” the release reads.
Furthermore, a witness identified Reyes in photographs obtained from the Snapchat account, recognizing the dog shown in the photographs as a family pet — a pit bull named “Lola,” deputies added.
As a result, Reyes now faces nine counts of child pornography possession, and three counts of sexual contact with an animal, jail records show. He is held with no bond.
The OCSO also said that Reyes has previously been the subject of “Internet Crimes Against Children” investigations in 2016, 2021 and 2022.
Anyone with information related to this case or a similar incident is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at (407) 348-2222.
