The bells of Notre Dame are ringing (metaphorically) at Walt Disney World thanks to these new items celebrating The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame 30th Anniversary Spirit Jersey – $79.99
The long-sleeved Spirit Jersey is a deep navy blue, complementing the darker Gothic aesthetic of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
On the front side, a small commemorative logo appears on the upper-left chest. The film’s gold wordmark is set against three pointed banners in shades of purple, with “30th Anniversary” printed below the title.
The back features an oversized distressed gold “Disney The Hunchback of Notre Dame” wordmark stretching across the shoulders.
Below the title is a large illustration rendered primarily in purple, pink, and gold. Quasimodo stands atop Notre Dame with one arm triumphantly outstretched, while Esmeralda looks up at him from the side. Quasimodo’s gargoyle friends Victor, Hugo, and Laverne are incorporated around the characters and cathedral architecture.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame Quasimodo Bell Mug – $24.99
The 19-ounce stoneware mug is sculpted to resemble one of the massive bells housed inside Notre Dame. It has a flared silhouette and an allover metallic gold finish.
Raised ornamental patterns encircle the top and bottom of the bell. A curved handle extends from one side, following the mug’s medieval-inspired design.
The film’s logo is embossed within a recessed rectangular panel on one side.
The opposite side features Quasimodo singing while holding one of the bell ropes. His colorful portrait appears inside a quatrefoil-shaped window with a blue background.
We found both items at the World of Disney in Disney Springs.
30 Years of The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Walt Disney Animation Studios released The Hunchback of Notre Dame on June 21, 1996. Directed by Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise, the film adapted Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel into an animated musical centered on Quasimodo, a lonely bell ringer who dreams of experiencing life beyond the walls of Notre Dame.
