Republican gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds was joined by his family at a polling location near their home in Collier County as they cast their ballots Tuesday.
“None of this would be possible without the love and support of (wife Erika Donalds) and my boys,” Donalds posted on X. “Get out and VOTE, Florida!”
Donalds told WINK-TV that addressing affordability would be among his top priorities if elected governor.
“Honestly, it’s been a great journey. Really at peace with how we’ve conducted ourselves, how we ran this campaign,” Donalds told the TV station.
Donalds’ campaign will be holding an election night watch party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood.
News 6’s Mike DeForest will have updates throughout the evening as election results are tabulated.
