The holiday season may be the busiest time of the year, and you may be planning a trip to Disney World, but even that won’t stop the closures and construction from hitting the Most Magical Place on Earth.
All-Star Music
Disney recently announced that a closure would be coming to a popular bar at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. With no official end date in sight, this could end up being a lengthy closure. Let’s take a look at the details that we know so far, so we can plan accordingly.
Disney announced that from November 2nd, 2026, through early 2027, Singing Spirits Pool Bar at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will be closed for refurbishment. Disney has not shared a specific reopening date at this time.

During this time of closure, Disney did share that a temporary pool bar will be available nearby. So, guests can still sit by the pool with a drink in hand and relax in the sun. Disney hasn’t posted any details on the temporary bar as of right now, but we could be seeing something when the closure date hits next week.

If you’re traveling to Disney World this holiday season, and you’re staying at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, you may see or hear construction activity in the area during daytime hours while the work is underway. Disney’s usually good at not being too much of a disturbance to guests, but they still will be working. Just something to be aware of.
We love this bar!
This isn’t the only hotel that’s seeing construction right now, as Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace at Disney’s Polynesian Resort still has yet to reopen. The popular bar closed in April and was scheduled to open in July. That opening date got pushed to October, and then Disney pushed the date back again. Disney has shared that Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace is set to be closed through mid-December. So, the space will be reopening almost six months behind its original schedule, if it does reopen in December.

Construction is also headed to two other Disney World hotels, as we recently saw permits that were filed for work to be done. There are three “General Construction” permits for Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at various locations along Cayman Way. As well as a “General Construction” permit for Disney’s Old Key West Resort.

It’s been a year of construction for Disney World, so this is a fitting end to 2026. From hotels to the parks, we’ve been seeing closures, reopenings, and transformations throughout the year. With massive projects like Monstropolis in Hollywood Studios, Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom, and Piston Peak and Villains Land in Magic Kingdom still being worked on, the construction trend will continue next year. Although we’re super excited for everything that’s on the way!
