The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular airs Monday, November 30th, with the Christmas Day Parade on Christmas morning. Both shows feature performances from Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Magic Kingdom guests can even catch the parade in person weeks before it airs.

Every holiday season, ABC brings the Disney Parks home with two specials full of music and characters from the resorts. This year’s pair follows a familiar pattern, with the Holiday Spectacular airing the Monday after Thanksgiving and the parade filling Christmas morning.
ABC also surrounds both shows with Disney films, including the broadcast premiere of Mufasa: The Lion King. All evening times below are Eastern and Pacific.
- Wednesday, November 25, 8:00pm to 8:30pm: Mickey’s Christmas Carol
- Thursday, November 26, 8:00pm to 11:00pm: Mary Poppins
- Sunday, November 29, 7:00pm to 11:00pm: The Sound of Music

Holiday Spectacular Airs November 30th
The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular fills two hours of prime time on Monday, November 30th, from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Disney keeps the description short, saying the annual special “will feature new musical performances from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.” ABC hasn’t named a host or any performers yet. Last year, Disney shared the full performer lineup about three weeks before the special aired.
That 2025 lineup spread performances across all four Walt Disney World parks. Bebe Rexha sang on the Cinderella Castle stage, Coco Jones performed beneath the Tree of Life, and Trisha Yearwood took over World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT. Good Charlotte played in front of the Millennium Falcon at Hollywood Studios. Host Derek Hough and narrator Ginnifer Goodwin tied it together, and the special streamed the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
Last year’s description also listed Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii, where Iam Tongi performed. This year’s listing names only Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, though that could change once Disney shares performance details.
Christmas Day Parade Airs December 25th
The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade returns Friday, December 25th, at 10:00am Eastern and 9:00am Central. ABC lists a 5:00am start for Mountain and Pacific viewers, the same early slot it used for last year’s 40th anniversary broadcast. Disney promises star-studded performances from both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
Fans don’t have to wait until Christmas to see part of the show. Walt Disney World scheduled 2:00pm daytime performances of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade on November 10th and November 11th. Those dates line up with the annual ABC taping. The parade normally rolls down Main Street USA only for Very Merry Christmas Party guests after dark. These afternoon performances give day guests a look without a party ticket.
During the 2024 taping, Disney cleared Main Street USA of guests, so Frontierland and Liberty Square should offer better odds of a view.
