A Maryland woman was arrested in South Florida last month after she was caught masturbating on a flight while apparently intoxicated, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

In an incident report obtained by News 6 on Wednesday, deputies said they were called about a “disturbance” on an airplane that had just landed at Miami International Airport on the night of Sept. 11.

Per the report, the flight had taken off from Baltimore, but around 20 minutes after takeoff, a flight attendant learned that a passenger — identified as Katy Inzer, 46 — had taken off her pants and “began to actively masturbate while making inappropriate sounds.”

“(The attendant) stated that he approached Ms. Inzer and instructed her to put her pants back on, which Ms. Inzer complied without further incident,” the report reads.

Deputies said Inzer subsequently fell asleep for the remainder of the flight.

However, when investigators interviewed Inzer, they discovered that she smelled strongly of alcohol and had blood-shot eyes, deputies noted.

“Ms. Inzer stated that her flight was delayed for two hours in Baltimore and, as a result, she had several drinks before boarding the flight,” the report continues. “Ms. Inzer stated that she does not remember what occurred during flight because she fell asleep.”

The MDSO told News 6 that the FBI has since taken over the case, as the incident happened during the flight.
