Last week, seven more Central Florida eateries were forced to shut down (at least temporarily) after a visit from a health inspector, according to state records.

These records show the reported eateries experienced violations like rodent droppings, roaches, and storage issues, among others.

Many of the Central Florida eateries that were forced to close down last week were also eventually allowed to reopen after meeting health standards.

The full list of Central Florida eateries required to close last week is as follows:

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS

• Wingstop — 229 E. Altamonte Drive
• • Closed on Sept. 8
  • • Sixteen live roaches found on premises
    • Small, flying insect found by drain under dry stock shelf
    • Toxic substance/chemical improperly stored next to single-service gloves on chemical shelf by back door

BUSHNELL

• Sweet Licks — 1858 W. County Road

  • • Over 40 rodent droppings found on premises, primarily beneath 3-compartment sink the cabinet area
    • Rodent nesting materials present beneath 3-compartment sink in cabinet and by floor area of the office section behind the front counter

DAVENPORT
