Four students were taken into custody after a fight broke out at Lyman High School on Thursday, according to the Longwood Police Department.

News 6 received a tip about the incident, which claimed that a weapon had been found on campus and that several fights erupted on campus.

In response, News 6 reached out to the LPD, which confirmed that there were no weapons — “just a basic fight between students.”

Police further explained that four students were arrested in total, with all of them facing a charge of disorderly conduct.

A district spokesperson also told News 6 that the fight broke out during lunch, though there were no weapons involved.
