Disney has installed more next generation pressed penny machines in EPCOT. We already reported on the new machines in The Seas With Nemo & Friends and Imagination! pavilion. The machines include brand-new designs and have touch screens. They offer one penny for $1 or all 8 designs for $5.

EPCOT Next Generation Pressed Penny Machines

This blue machine is at Mission: SPACE Cargo Bay.

The machine includes five new designs featuring Chip ‘n’ Dale, Goofy, Donald, Mickey and Pluto as astronauts with the phrase “Space Legend.” Another Mickey astronaut design depicts him on a space rover. There’s also a penny featuring Stitch in his spaceship and Buzz Lightyear with “To Infinity & Beyond.”

The new World Traveler machine also has eight designs, replacing two China and a 2026 design.

Most of these feature the 1990s EPCOT logo with a character and their autograph: Rapunzel, Dopey, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, and Donald Duck. Orange Bird is pictured on his own EPCOT penny, while Mickey and Minnie are on the last design creating a heart with their arms.

A new machine is in Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie at the France pavilion. These designs all feature characters with “France” text.

The featured characters are Stitch (with the Eiffel Tower), Minnie, Chef Mickey, Remy (with a cheese Eiffel Tower), Belle, and Aurora. There’s also a design with both Mickey and Minnie, and another featuring the Eiffel Tower and Spaceship Earth.

The new Japan pavilion machine is located outside, against a stone wall.

The designs include Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in Japanese attire. On one penny, Mickey and Minnie enjoy fireworks. All the pennies have the pavilion logo.

Similarly, the Germany pavilion penny designs include three designs depicting Mickey and Minnie in German-style outfits.

There are also designs featuring Snow White and Rapunzel, plus three pennies featuring Donald, Goofy, and Mickey-inspired nutcrackers. These all read “Deutschland Pavilion – Nuts About Germany.”

The Fjording in the Norway pavilion has this new machine.

Of course, many of the designs feature Frozen characters. There’s one with both Anna and Elsa, then two featuring the Queens individually. There’s an Olaf design and a Kristoff design (also featuring Sven). The other three depict Mickey and Minnie with “Norway” text.

Stay tuned for more pressed penny updates.
