After undergoing an exterior refurbishment for several months, the scrim surrounding Little Green Men Store Command has now come down. This shop is located at the exit to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters in Tomorrowland at Disneyland.

Little Green Men Shop Refurbishment Complete

The attraction and store both closed in mid-April of this year. Little Green Men Store Command then opened first in early June, with scrim and construction walls blocking most of the exterior from view. For a while, the Space Mountain mural was also completely covered. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters reopened mid-June this year and is still operational at the time of this writing.

During our latest visit to Disneyland, though, we noticed all the purple scrim and blue construction walls were removed, suggesting the exterior refurbishment is now all but complete.

The weathered rock facade on the far-right side of the building has been restored, and the Space Mountain mural was refreshed.

Behind the rock wall, though, we noticed some painted sections that looked rather unfinished. The purple and white paint near the top of a pillar at the entrance to the shop had jagged edges.

Several more streaks of white paint can be seen in the gray portions further down the wall, but the sections looked a bit straighter than what was found above.

The other side of the entrance is painted with straight edges, and the Little Green Men Store Command shop sign featuring the aliens from Toy Story remains unchanged.
